“After 24 years, our furnace died on us 4 days before we were to host for Easter dinner. Gene's had serviced our furnace once a few years back, so I called them (their card was attached to the furnace – smart move!).
Replacing a furnace is never "fun" but the people at Gene's explained things completely and assured us that they could move their schedule around to get us back up and running before Easter. In reality, it was less than 36 hours after our initial call!
Everything went off like clockwork. The installers showed up on time and were respectful of our property.
We elected to have them replace our central air as well since it was only a matter of time before that 24 year old unit expired as well. They worked with us to bundle everything and save as much money as possible, given the circumstances.

“I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with a service provider. Although I paid extra for their "fantastic" plan, I was disappointed with the service I received. One of the technicians had to do a deep cleaning on the furnace in my building and took it apart, but a few weeks later, it stopped working and looked like it had not been cleaned thoroughly. Another technician informed me that the heater in my attached garage needed to be replaced, so I ordered a new one. However, a subsequent technician told me that nothing was wrong with the initial heater that had been removed. I was also informed that the technician who had recommended the replacement had been let go due to other issues. Additionally, the furnace they installed in one of my houses was too small for the size of the house, and a technician who serviced it confirmed this.
I also had issues with a sump pump installation, as the technician who installed the backflow device found it to be too loud. While I was billed for a correction, I felt that this should have been done correctly the first time around, and I shouldn't have had to pay for a part that was meant to be installed properly.
Despite my attempts to be reimbursed for the "fantastic" plan, I was unsuccessful. While I would not recommend this company, I do believe that there are trustworthy companies out there that do a good job.”

Did a very nice job on the installation, and made sure that the young man (Joey) who was helping him did his work correctly as well. Joey and Jacob the electrician were also very helpful on questions I had. All in all, it was a very good experience. Thank you.”

“I called for a repair$164.00 and then purchased a$8900.00 Instillation. The furnace works, the installers were pleasant and prompt. However, I am disappointed that none of the “SPECIAL” discounts , new customer, or repair discounts were offer. I called the number , did not look over repair websites to find a deal.AND purchase the new furnace the same day. The furnace was heating, I could have shopped around, iI did not. The biggest annoyance is that I was not informed there would be a $89.95 fee for the electrian to give an estimate. Having written an $8900 and $164.00 check that week I would have scheduled or not scheduled an appointment.”
