Genes is always prompt. I have a service agreement on several of my investment properties. They are always friendly, keep you well informed of what is going on with the project they are working on. Weather if it is a plumbing, furnace, or hot water tank issues. Thank you for great service.
The technician that came out to give a quote did a nice job answering questions and explaining the job. The issue I have is there was an $89 charge for the estimate. When I scheduled the quote, I was not told about a charge, which I feel is wrong. If there’s a charge, tell the customer up front so they can make an informed decision to use your services or not. I’ve had other quotes and those companies did not charge.
Called for service to clean and check our furnace. Our technician was very friendly , considerate and proficient. Everything was explained and service was performed efficiently and professionally.Great service.

My thermostat showed furnace locked itself out due to a coded fault. Upon inspection, the heat exchanger is cracked and leaking carbon monoxide into the living space.I'm an old retired nurse/paramedic, I know firsthand what happens with carbon monoxide poisoning.Parts under warranty, labor discounted thanks to membership, auxiliary heat is keeping us warm enough, all's well!

had an emergency call last night and Gene’s was the only company to respond and I’m so blessed they did. amazing customer service and the knowledge was unbelievable. i won’t use anyone else moving forward. they have surpassed all expectations!!! Jeff was so nice and kept me calm which is a feat all on its own.
I was very satisfied with Lamar, the technician who serviced my heater. He was friendly, polite and thorough. He fully explained the problem I was encountering. I truly felt that he had my best interests at heart. Gene's Refrigeration, you have a keeper in Lamar.
Had no heat today (a Saturday). Called and the tech was out within the hour. Did a great job in diagnosing the problem, and will be back our to install I've the parts were in. Very appreciative of the quick response!

I will start this by stating that the maintenance techs are wonderful people. But the culture or processes there are awful.Where do I begin with Gene’s? I called them months ago to fix our low water pressure. They had to come out twice to find the “problem.”They told me that they needed to order a part. I waited a week then called to ask where the part was. They had no idea what I was talking about. Finally, they found what I was talking about and said they were waiting for it.The next two weeks were the same with three more phone calls: no part, no idea what I was talking about, find what I was talking about, then said they were waiting on the part.Finally, the part arrives. They install it and the water pressure gets WORSE. I call and let Gene’s know. Do they care? Nope.In the meantime, my heat goes out. Josh comes out and identifies the issue. He gives me a temporary fix and says the office will call once the new part he has to order for the permanent fix arrives.Anyone shocked that I never received that call? It has been two weeks and no call with this new part.When I’ve called three times this week to ask where the part is, I get confusion as to what I am talking about as well as, “we will have an answer to you today” with no answer ever coming.Three days this week I’ve been told I’ll be called back with an update. And three days this week I’ve received no follow-up call.They’ve made the water pressure in my system worse and don’t care. And they have me waiting on a part for my heat and haven’t once tried to follow up with me on when to expect that part to come in and be installed.By the way, I’m the idiot that pays these people over $100 a month to be on their “Fantastic Plan.” Yes, fantastic… a fantastic ripoff.
