We had another five-star experience with Gene’s this week. Dylan and Will were kind, courteous, and professional. They completed the job timely, gave a thorough recap of the work, and left my basement as clean as they found it. Dylan was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my follow-up questions. I will continue to recommend Gene’s to my friends and neighbors.
Update 6/13/25 - Another outstanding experience with Gene’s today. Ryan was here for our maintenance service and we couldn’t have asked for a better technician. Competent, efficient, and so friendly. He answered all my questions and made some great suggestions for our system. Thanks, Ryan!

My Gene's HVAC Technician DJ was EXCELLENT! Not only was he very professional but was very educational. He performed an A/C Tune-Up along with making sure my outside unit was level. Installed a hard start kit to help with the longevity of my compressor. Came inside to check my inside unit and upon inspection noticed some issues where we decided it was best to install an Air Scrubber air purifier to ensure high standard of indoor air quality. I would highly recommend Gene's and their HVAC Technician DJ as they are very professional.

Tried to charge me close to $300. Just to come check my air conditioner after telling me it would be $89. To come give me an estimate. Not they want 5,000 just to repair the unit.

Jacob was very courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. I would recommend him any time. Install that was done today, January 29, both Dylan and Brent were very professional, friendly, neat, and knew exactly what they were doing. They installed an air conditioning unit outside, and a new furnace inside and when they left, I couldn’t even tell anybody had been here. Nice cleanup, job, nice all the way around I would highly recommend them again.

I would definitely recommend Genes to everyone. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everyone I spoke to from setting up my service appointment to them coming out to my house top tier. Our first appointment my husband met Ryan & said he was awesome, very professional & knowledgeable. Did everything he could for us. Then we met Matt who’s outstanding. Matt kept in constant communication with us . Even after the appointment he followed up. During our appointment he was very professional & down to earth. We were very comfortable with Matt in our home . He made sure we knew exactly what we’re getting & the best deal moving forward. I want to thank everyone @ Genes for going above & beyond for your customers . I would also like to mention scheduling was awesome! We didn’t have to wait & whatever time worked best for us they obliged. Same day service & everything. Fantastic!!

I want to give a huge "THANK YOU" to Jeff Larto for coming all the way down from Avon to fix my shower handle that broke and the shower head was leaking a good amount of water. Took a month to get my tank properly installed. First tank dented, reinstall failed, last attempt put in by two servicemen but had to be called back for a gas leak. As much as I spent and for the times I took off of work, I will not recommend them for a thing. Quality did not match quantity at all

Had them come out to install a garbage disposal. Cost 89.00 just to come out, 325.00 to install the disposal. The 89.00 was not deducted from cost of installation. When I complained the installer said he could give a senior discount which was 40.00. 374.00, took 20 minutes to install. When I called to question I was told owner was in a meeting and they would call me back. Never heard a word from them. I have never had a service fee not deducted from the charge of work being done. Will never use again!

I called into Gene’s for an appointment with The Duct Buster. Erica helped me schedule the appointment . Erica was so professional and easy to work with . She took all the details down that were needed to help get the job done . Mike and Jacob were the service professionals that helped with my duct problem . They were on time , did a thorough job and cleaned everything up after the service . I would recommend using The Duct Busters they did an excellent job ! from the first call to the end of the job .

I am very pleased with Gene's service's. I was having issues with my water pipes in my laundry room and in my bathroom with pipe leeks. The appointment to complete both areas was amazingly fast and schedule friendly! I expeacially apreciate the gentlman Anthony, who was very knowledgable, caring, and quick to the task. The completed work and authentic customer service super exceded any expectations I had. Hands down, I felt Anthony was like family looking out for what is most important, he truly cares about his customers and for that I am SO grateful! Thank you Gene's Refrigeration! and most especially, I thank you Anthony!!

I am very disappointed and feel upset by the lack of care and honesty. Genes HVAC came out on a service call. They didn't honor the free service call for a first customer ad in the value pak which would waive the fee.. I had just opened the value pak and the ad wasn't in there. They charged me $85 to turn the arrow to open on two main vents. I will not use them again in the future.

Ryan is a very good service technician. He completed the cleaning and inspection of both our gas furnace and our AC system. He was extremely courteous and I would highly recommend him to our neighbors. Gene's is a company who can service all of our HVAV, Pluming and Electrical needs.

First time using them and we recieved great service today! The technician DJ did a great job. Not only did he tune up the AC unit and change our filter that he was there for.. he was thoroughly clean while he was servicing it. He even helped dig around the unit to help with the water flow and leveled it since it was leaning. I was impressed that he went above and beyond what I expected. Thank you. We'll be calling again for our next service needed!
