I have a tankless hot water heater and required service on a maintenance level. I called Jean refrigeration last year and made an appointment for this time this year. This is how I met Chris and Dominic of jeans refrigeration. Their customer service skills were excellent. They looked at my system told me exactly what they would be doing and in fact caught a code violation that was overlooked by the builder. This was remedied later due to their keen eyes. Also, Chris was able to improve the water pressure by a turn of a valve I was unaware of at the time. I was also informed about a product that they offered to help the maintenance on a yearly basis to be less frequent and less clogging to the tankless water system. It’s not only gave me better piece of mine, but also knew that I could count on being informed and realize that Jean’s refrigeration and the representatives Chris and Dominic knew exactly what they were doing. I highly recommend them. They are local in the Medina area and I feel that Chris and Dominic‘s service and customer service was second and none.

Despite a very busy work load, Gene's Refrigeration was able to schedule the inspection of downspout drainage system with only a day's notice. Cody and Dominic worked diligently to locate the blockage, and I was able to remove it the following day. I would recommend Gene's Refrigeration without reservation.

Early Saturday morning about 4am after realizing a power outage also discovered my toilet valve was no longer working and was overflowing from the tank onto the floor. To my dismay a plumber I have used on occasion was not answering their phone. I looked on google and the first two phone numbers stated they would not be able to get to me until Monday. I then contacted Gene’s and was informed would have someone call me today. Jeff was knowledgeable and , helpful with some until he could arrive things to do. Also followed up again when he was on the way. I definitely am a customer for life and will be advising friends and family to utilize their service

3 young technicians came out from Gene’s Refrigeration did a great job replacing the furnace and AC unit and installed a humidifier all in 8 hours and never even saw them have lunch! Also, they cleaned up after themselves. WOW!

It's a shame though a BRAND NEW Carrier thermostat out of the box that didn't work! They hooked up a temporary one, until a compatible one arrives and can be installed.

95% of the time we have always had good service from Gene's Refrigeration. Minus a couple of incidents we have always had knowledgeable, courteous and dedicated people help us with our Heating and Air Conditioning.

Made appropriate recommendations. Chose the repair we could afford, but will consider other suggestions he made at a later date.

STAY AWAY!!! I had Gene's come out for an A/C service last June where they had to replace 2 parts and when I had started the unit in April, it would not come on. I called another company to look at it, as when Gene's was scheduled to complete my furnace check-up, they did not show for a confirmed appointment (in which they had called the night before) because I didn't answer my phone when the technician was on his way. I called back in 10 minutes and they had already cancelled? So, on the A/C unit found out that the connectors they used were junk (2 broken and one came loose because it was cheap), per the new company, and had to replace. I called Gene's to let them know and they told me that they would have a "manager" call. Matt called me back and as I was trying to explain the situation, not asking them for anything just informing them of their horrible work, Matt was very condescending and kept talking over me. I explained my frustration with him, but his answer was that he was doing to me exactly what I was doing to him? I then had some other "words" for him. Gene's is doing a complete disservice having Matt speak to customers and I will never use their services again. I would advise anyone to look at other companies.

A contractor spotted a gas leak and we called Gene’s. They got a tech out in a short time, charged half the service call cost of another local plumber, and had the leak fixed in a very short time. The tech was very polite and professional, told us exactly what the issue was, and how he resolved it. I appreciate that the invoice also contains pictures of the repair. Thank you very much. My family already mentioned that we would call them back for any future plumbing needs.

Early Saturday morning about 4am after realizing a power outage also discovered my toilet valve was no longer working and was overflowing from the tank onto the floor. To my dismay a plumber I have used on occasion was not answering their phone. I looked on google and the first two phone numbers stated they would not be able to get to me until Monday. I then contacted Gene’s and was informed would have someone call me today. Jeff was knowledgeable and , helpful with some until he could arrive things to do. Also followed up again when he was on the way. I definitely am a customer for life and will be advising friends and family to utilize their service

3 young technicians came out from Gene’s Refrigeration did a great job replacing the furnace and AC unit and installed a humidifier all in 8 hours and never even saw them have lunch! Also, they cleaned up after themselves. WOW!

It's a shame though a BRAND NEW Carrier thermostat out of the box that didn't work! They hooked up a temporary one, until a compatible one arrives and can be installed.

95% of the time we have always had good service from Gene's Refrigeration. Minus a couple of incidents we have always had knowledgeable, courteous and dedicated people help us with our Heating and Air Conditioning.

Today we had Ryan Toledo. Courteous, kind and efficient. (09/25/2023)

Made appropriate recommendations. Chose the repair we could afford, but will consider other suggestions he made at a later date.

Might request him for future checkups or repairs.

STAY AWAY!!! I had Gene's come out for an A/C service last June where they had to replace 2 parts and when I had started the unit in April, it would not come on. I called another company to look at it, as when Gene's was scheduled to complete my furnace check-up, they did not show for a confirmed appointment (in which they had called the night before) because I didn't answer my phone when the technician was on his way. I called back in 10 minutes and they had already cancelled? So, on the A/C unit found out that the connectors they used were junk (2 broken and one came loose because it was cheap), per the new company, and had to replace. I called Gene's to let them know and they told me that they would have a "manager" call. Matt called me back and as I was trying to explain the situation, not asking them for anything just informing them of their horrible work, Matt was very condescending and kept talking over me. I explained my frustration with him, but his answer was that he was doing to me exactly what I was doing to him? I then had some other "words" for him. Gene's is doing a complete disservice having Matt speak to customers and I will never use their services again. I would advise anyone to look at other companies.

A contractor spotted a gas leak and we called Gene’s. They got a tech out in a short time, charged half the service call cost of another local plumber, and had the leak fixed in a very short time. The tech was very polite and professional, told us exactly what the issue was, and how he resolved it. I appreciate that the invoice also contains pictures of the repair. Thank you very much. My family already mentioned that we would call them back for any future plumbing needs.

Had to replace a 16 year old water heater and Gene's Refrigeration responded promptly with a same day installation. I called at 11 AM and the job was done by 4 PM. Joey, the installer, was very thorough and professional. I have used Gene's in the past and highly recommend them. They are local and have a good crew.

I had a very positive experience with Gene's. I had them come out and do a maintenance check on my furnace as it wasn't running well. Ryan came out with another technician, diagnosed the issue and had my furnace running as good as new. Ryan was very knowledgeable and explained clearly what was required to fix the problem.
