Prompt, friendly, honest & knowledgeable. Have to come back to install a thermostat but it had to be ordered which was expected so not a big deal.UPDATE: They weren't able to replace my thermostat so I paid for them to come out for them to tell me they have to refer me to The Place for my fireplace. Which means another service call fee. Meanwhile, I called The Place multiple times & left messages and never got a return call. The tech from Gene's was nice & honest or I'd probably give less stars. Look elsewhere for gas fireplace service, etc.
They did a great job Bryan and his crew installing a brand new boiler system in my home and cleaned everything up, including mopping the floor where they worked great job
We had another five-star experience with Gene’s this week. Dylan and Will were kind, courteous, and professional. They completed the job timely, gave a thorough recap of the work, and left my basement as clean as they found it. Dylan was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my follow-up questions. I will continue to recommend Gene’s to my friends and neighbors.
Josh B was here today to do a yearly maintenance check up on our Furnace. He’s such a great guy and did a wonderful job. He informed us of an issue with the expansion tank on our Water Heater and we got a replacement before it became a bigger issue. Great service as always!!
Professional, friendly service. I have a century home and several years ago Gene's was the only business to provide a solution. Today, they are my first call for service with any heating/cooling, plumbing and electrical problems.
Had Gene's do a full furnace and heat pump replacement. Dylan and John were prompt, professional, and did a fantastic job. Dylan noticed some damage on one of the units and made sure that someone came out and delivered a replacement. All of the work still was able to be done the same day. He walked me through the new system and answered any questions that I had and they cleaned up everything before they left. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and hope that this is step 1 in a long relationship with Gene's for any future heating and cooling needs.
Mike and Jacob were great to work with. Not only did they do a great job cleaning the vent, they even helped to create a more efficient setup along the way as they put back together.
Paul came to our house from 8-3 to install a new furnace, air conditioner and humidifier! He was very professional as to protect our floors from the wet snow. He showed me everything that he did and how to work the different components of the furnace/ac. After they were finished they cleaned up as though no one was in the basement! I would definitely recommend Paul and his buddy to put in new systems! Thank you! Happy new year!!

Service and technician were great.Customer service stinks ! In 2025 I was given a 5 hour window 8am to 1pm. Tech showed up at 2. I lost a whole day of work waiting for a 1 hour repair.
Notified me the approximate time of arrival which turned out to be correct.Friendly,courteous and professional. Informed me of a possible issue with the thermostat but was resolved. Cleaned up and informed me that they were leaving.
Paul was extremely thorough and was kind enough to explain what he was doing as he went through his inspection. A great experience definitely worthy of a five star rating!
For a company like this to survive in today's business environment, it's very important for the company to understand that the customer has to be treated with respect and understanding. This company has that. For any company to survive they must understand this. Great technical, trained staff.....

Our technician, DJ, was absolutely phenomenal! Knowledgeable, friendly, professional and he went above and beyond to get us set up on a maintenance program that fits our needs and budget but also gets us discounts on future service calls and he assessed what our next service call needs to be!Follow up: we have since canceled our maintenance program and will never use this company again. The level of incompetence replacing our gas lines was astonishing. The tech left 2 separate times stating he was done with gas pouring into our house, right next to the furnace and hot water tank. The 2nd time was so bad that my family started getting nauseous and we had to call their emergency line that evening. When the tech showed up, he was shocked at the level of gas present in the house and stated how bad of a job he was looking at, asking how things could've been left like this. The gas was turned off over night waiting for a tech to arrive the next day and finally fix things-replacing several connections that were installed incorrectly. All these issues, and such a high risk situation leaving a job multiple times with high levels of gas leaking into our home stating the job was done, and not one follow up from the company other than a secretary looking for a review of their tech. After voicing my level of frustration and concern, I chose to cancel, I was told I would receive a call from top management. I never did. I was then charged again for the program after numerous attempts to cancel. When I called again, I was told that a manager had called me??? Nope, more run around and mishandling a customer. Then I was told I didn't give enough notice, 2 weeks, to cancel so the charge was kept and then, at that point, I was told I need to email my cancel request. I was not told that when I first stated I wanted to cancel. Strung along to get one last charge in. DO NOT USE THESE UNPROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS.
Have used Gene's since he started. Always professional and on time. Do a great job . Lamar knew his job, answered any questions I had, was friendly and polite. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions It was for my furnace and ac. Recommended a filtering system to clean the air.
Our water heater broke on Christmas Eve. With just 15 minutes left before they closed, Cody came out to take a look. He installed a new water heater that day. Amazing! We were so grateful for his dedication and compassion. He went above and beyond. I’ve been telling everyone that Gene’s is the best. Thank you Cody!
I really appreciate the service I receive from Gene’s. Today, I had another excellent experience. I have purchased both my furnace and A/C units from Gene’s and I use them to regularly maintain and service those systems. Today, my technician, Chris, observed some issues with the A/C that warranted some modest repairs. Chris was professional, conscientious, knowledgeable and efficient. He made the repairs quickly and showed me the new parts he installed and left the unit cleaner and running smoother than before. I would recommend Gene’s to anyone.
